Pacific Prime Clients Can Expect Faster Insurance Services with the Launch of Now Health's Intermediaries Online

As one of the newest international insurers on the market, Now Health have been able to use innovation to improve their administrative procedures resulting in a better experience for the customer. Now Health are elevating the customer experience even higher with the launch of Intermediaries Online (IOL), an online system for intermediaries that will make purchasing a plan much faster for Pacific Prime's clients.

Traditionally, an intermediary inputs the details of a customer's insurance plan on its own system before having to email or phone the insurer to transfer the information. With the implementation of IOL, Now's internal system will be automatically updated when the intermediary inputs data on their own system. It reduces the amount of pressure on the intermediary and the insurer considerably by cutting the work in half.

Now Health looked at the entire process between insurers and intermediaries to find any steps that could be cut out or minimized. They noticed the redundancy in having two different steps of data input and decided to streamline the procedure, cutting down the client's wait-time in the process.

With IOL, the simple fast process is as follows. When the client sends their application, the intermediary first inputs the data from the application into their own system. When the intermediary is inputting data onto their system, it is also updating the insurer's system at the same time. This allows the insurer to spend their time on more important tasks than data entry, ultimately benefiting the customer as well.

In addition to the removal of a step in the traditional procedure of processing an application, the IOL system also offers the intermediary a slew of additional benefits. The intermediary can now make instant quotes, keep track of the status of their clients, retrieve plan details, and make instant payments, all tasks that result in an improved customer experience.

Pacific Prime analysts predict that this sped-up, streamlined approach will eventually become the standard with insurers and intermediaries. Both Now Health and Pacific Prime are awaiting the launch of Intermediaries Online in anticipation, curious to see how the market reacts to the new system.
