PRELEX restores one's vision to a more youthful age, giving you optimum vision in both eyes, preserving binocular vision and depth of field. It allows each eye to see far (for watching the ball game), middle (for computer work) and near (for reading the newspaper). This is not mono-vision (which is one eye for far and the other for near). PRELEX is an acronym for presbyopic refractive lens exchange.
