PRA International to Host Audio Conference

RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, will host an audio conference on the expanding role of the Asia-Pacific region in global clinical research studies. In this audio conference, Mr. Edward Ian, Senior Director of Clinical Operations Asia-Pacific, will discuss the benefits and challenges of managing clinical trials in Asia-Pacific based on his in-depth regional knowledge and experience. The session will provide attendees with practical advice and critical issues to consider when conducting trials in this region. The presentation is scheduled for 2 September, 2009 at 11:30 AM (EDT).

Mr. Ian has more than 14 years of experience in clinical research, understands the regional challenges and knows what is required to successfully execute studies in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Ian is committed to promoting clinical research in the region and has been instrumental in strategically establishing PRA as a premier provider of clinical services in Asia-Pacific. At PRA, he is responsible for the clinical offices in India, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan as well as the International Partner Program in Malaysia and Japan.

With a knowledgeable staff averaging nearly seven years industry experience, PRA has conducted over 80 trials in Asia-Pacific over the past five years. The company has this year opened its office in Seoul, South Korea as PRA continues to expand its presence in the region.
