PRA International Announces New Office Opening in Mumbai

RALEIGH, N.C., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- To accommodate rapid growth and further enhance PRA's ability to deliver clinical service excellence, PRA has moved its Mumbai, India office to a larger, more centrally located facility. By more than tripling the size of the former space, the new location includes more offices and conference and meeting spaces, and will more comfortably accommodate the Mumbai team of 20+ clinical operations staff while allowing for future expansion of the workforce.

The new Mumbai office will expand upon the services PRA is able to offer its clients in India, the surrounding regions, and around the globe. With an anticipated staff of up to 50 clinical team members by the end of 2008, PRA India will potentially increase its service capacity by 150% in comparison to September 2007.

Situated in the newly developed Andheri East area of Mumbai, PRA's new office is conveniently located near a variety of transportation options, including Mumbai's international and local airports, and the main train station. A growing biotechnology and pharmaceutical corridor will continue to expand PRA's access to a skilled talent pool, as well as operational resources and potential clients.

Services offered by staff in the Mumbai office include project management, comprehensive clinical monitoring, clinical investigator identification and recruitment, study site selection and validation, submissions with EC/IRB and Regulatory Authorities, safety monitoring, pharmacy and drug depot services, and identification of service providers, including central laboratories accredited by t
