PRA Hosts Biotech 2009 - Challenges and Opportunities in R&D

Interactive workshops to exchange ideas with experts on clinical development: Copenhagen and Munich

RALEIGH, N.C., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, will host two interactive workshops on how to manage the challenges posed by current market conditions, improve planning for successful trials and marketing approvals, and increase efficiency working with different vendors throughout the development process. The first workshop will take place in Munich on April 21, 2009; the second workshop will occur on April 23, 2009 in Copenhagen.

Guest speakers from the biotech sector, special vendors, and analysts will present and discuss the challenges faced by the biotechnology industry in the current environment. Speakers for the event in Munich include: Dr. Michael Kirchengast - VP and Head, Scientific Affairs at PRA; Dr. Ute Berger - VP, Medical Affairs at PRA; Dr. Siegfried Bialojan - Executive Director and Head European Life Science Center at Ernst & Young; Dr. Graham Bunn - VP Global Partnerships & Alliances at Medidata Solutions Worldwide; and Dr. Frank Henke - Head Clinical Operations at BioTie.
