Tampa, Fla. (Vocus) August 17, 2009 -- PMSI, one of the nation's largest providers of specialty products and services for the workers' compensation market, today announced that Lori Daugherty has joined PMSI as President of its Pharmacy division.

"We are excited to have Lori join PMSI in this critical role. She is a natural fit based on her deep experience in the workers' compensation market and her extensive pharmacy background. With Lori's arrival, we have finished rounding out our divisional leadership and have strong executives to drive us forward in our pharmacy, medical services and equipment and Medicare Set-Aside businesses," commented Eileen Auen, Chairman and CEO.

As division President, Daugherty will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the business, working collaboratively with the sales and account management teams to expand PMSI's customer base, and enhancing the operational infrastructure in order to achieve the short- and long-term goals of PMSI's Pharmacy business. Upon her appointment, Daugherty commented, "PMSI's well-established history as a leading provider for pharmacy benefits management services attracted me to this opportunity. I look forward to continuing the positive momentum of PMSI's pharmacy business and elevating the company's leadership position in the industry."
