PEMCO's Super-Long-Coffee-Order Contest Taps First Winners

Promotion with Tully's Coffee benefits Children's Hospital

SEATTLE, April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- PEMCO Insurance today announced the first weekly winners of its "Super-Long Coffee Order" promotion with Tully's Coffee.

The promotion encourages Tully's customers to nominate their preferred "super-long" coffee orders and benefits Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center as PEMCO donates $1 for each entry.

The winners from the promotion's first and second week are Sally Rampersad of Seattle and Elizabeth Wade of Bothell.

Rampersad placed her order at the Giraffe Snacks and Coffee Tully's located in Children's Hospital. Her coffee creation was:

"a double grande, split shot, extra hot, soy intense dark chocolate

mocha with no foam, one extra raw sugar and extra whipped cream,

with a sleeve on the cup."

Wade conceived of her super-long-coffee order in the Convention Center Tully's store in Seattle and concocted the following masterpiece:

"a half-caf, grande rice milk latte with five dashes of cinnamon in

the bottom of the cup, two pumps sugar-free Irish cream syrup, very

light foam, 175 degrees, in my personal cup so I get a 10 cent

discount."

As weekly winners, Rampersad and Wade will each take home a $100 Tully's gift card and a Tully's gift bag. At the end of the promotion their names, along with all other weekly winners, will appear on a $10,000 donation to Children's Hospital.

Tully's judged the entries at its corporate headquarters where baristas made and tasted the nominated drinks. Rampersad and Wade's entries stood above the hundreds of other submitted entries, judged on inventiveness, taste and being emblematic of our Northwest character.

Tully's customers can submit their preferred super-long coffee orders at participating Tully's locations or at http://www.tullys.com to qualify for the weekly prizes. The contest is now in its third week and will run through June.

The promotion with Tully's highlights the "Super-Long Coffee Orderer" character from PEMCO's "We're A Lot Like You. A Little Different." ad campaign, which features a host of quirky, yet recognizable, Northwest profiles.
