PDHI Launches ConXus Steps to Deliver Online Health Action Plans
Date:10/10/2007

DES MOINES, Iowa, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Protocol Driven Healthcare, Inc. (PDHI) announces the availability of ConXus Steps, delivering online health action plans to promote wellness and behavior change as part of the ConXus health improvement platform.

Health action plans can be configured to match client service levels and business rules, including the duration of the program, action steps to be included, and incentive points available. Integration with ConXus Rewards provides comprehensive tracking and fulfillment of incentives.

Participants engaged in these behavior-change programs:

-- Receive reminders for step completion

-- Complete action steps, such as assessments, online tutorials, and

trackers

-- Earn incentive points for completing individual steps, together with a

bonus for completing all steps within a plan

Three types of action plan are supported:

1. Wellness programs -- Personal lifestyle-behavior change programs that

include healthy eating, weight management, exercise and activity, and

stress management

2. Challenges -- Health trackers that are delivered at specific times

company-wide or to selected communities to support team-based programs

3. Events - Employer-defined health events or activities that occur

throughout the year, such as a wellness seminar or annual flu shot.

Employers can update the list of available activities and related

incentives using a secure employer portal.

ConXus Steps is available in self-directed mode for personal health improvement or can be combined with ConXus Direct to support a higher touch, coach-directed model.

Using ConXus Direct, health coaches assign plans to participants, review their results, and record steps such as a coaching session or biometric results.

Client administrators are provided with a robust set of online tools for managing projects and reporting data.
