PAINWeek Debuts New Website for Frontline Practitioners
Date:9/4/2013

Montclair, NJ (PRWEB) September 04, 2013

PAINWeek, the Pain Education Resource for Frontline Practitioners, today announced the launch of a new website designed to serve as a comprehensive source of information on pain management for frontline practitioners. Building on over 7 years of experience in delivering the nation’s largest conference on pain, the PAINWeek website will feature timely and relevant content from a variety of sources to assist busy practitioners in the assessment, diagnosis and management of chronic pain conditions.

The new PAINWeek website provides a single point of access to information content across a range of media, including live, print, and digital communications. Among the new features for practitioners:

  • Expert Opinion: a video and slide library from PAINWeek faculty on key topics in pain management
  • Regularly updated news feeds with information on breaking developments from pain medicine and industry
  • PWJ—PAINWeek Journal, a new multidisciplinary publication targeted specifically to frontline practitioners, with timely coverage of the panoply of issues in pain management
  • Event calendars, agendas, and registration for PAINWeek live conferences, both regional and national

In the near future, the PAINWeek website will also offer interactive capabilities, including community forums for practitioner interaction and networking via social media. Additional planned enhancements include:

  • The One-Minute Practitioner: condensed clinical expertise on specific issues in pain
  • Pain Syndrome Resource Centers: providing website users the ability to access collections of information on individual pain conditions

Debra Weiner, Director of Program Development for PAINWeek observed, "Our new website is the vehicle for transmitting the full scope of expertise now available from PAINWeek. We are much more than an annual or regional conference; now, we are ready to extend the energy and experience of our national and regional conferences to a wider audience of frontline practitioners with an interest in pain management."
