PAACT Announces Upcoming Lecture on Prostate Cancer Options

Patient Advocates for Advanced Cancer Treatments (PAACT) has announced that Dr. Brian Lane will discuss the changes and challenges that prostate cancer patients face in treatment and in daily life. His presentation on "Prostate Cancer Treatment: Weighing the Options Before, During and After" will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Gilda's Club, in Grand Rapids.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), prostate cancer is the top cause for cancer-related deaths in men. There is no cure yet for this disease.

As a prostate cancer charity organization, PAACT helps patients achieve a higher quality of life by providing them with knowledge and support through prostate cancer newsletters, local lectures and personal contact. It also shares new discoveries and related medical advancements as they become available.
