HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- One of the largest annual health and safety conferences on the East Coast, Pennsylvania's 81st Governor's Occupational Safety and Health Conference, is just around the corner and there's still time to register.
The two-day conference, Oct. 15-16 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, Hershey, draws more than 1,000 safety and health care professionals, business leaders, workers, educators and government leaders from across Pennsylvania and it offers a forum to discuss the importance of workplace safety and how employers are providing safe working places.
This year's conference will feature keynote speakers Randy Snow and Edwin Foulke Jr.
Snow, a nationally known author, sales associate and CEO of NoXQs (No Excuses), will speak about his personal experiences on Oct. 15 with workplace safety, and how he overcame a farming accident that left him without the use of his legs and his continued achievements since his recovery.
Foulke Jr., who heads the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, will speak on Oct. 16 about his involvement with workplace safety and what the federal government is doing to improve workplace conditions across the country.
