P\S\L Group appoints Paul Barnes as Group President P\S\L Research

NEW YORK, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- P\S\L Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Barnes to the newly created position of Group President for P\S\L Research (PSLR).

In his new role, Mr. Barnes will lead the P\S\L Research Group, which consists of all existing research businesses: P\S\L Research International, P\S\L Research Europe and P\S\L Research Canada. His focus will be to ensure that the existing research businesses continue to realize their full potential, and also to develop new research and consulting services to support specific market-focused client needs.

"With the creation of Business Groups, P\S\L is providing a framework for continued growth of the network of research, medical information and education businesses," states Michele Fearon, CEO P\S\L Group. "This structure will create an executive management team for each major business field and establish the environment and infrastructure to encourage the emergence of several new business units, each focused on leveraging P\S\L Group assets. Mr. Barnes brings 20 years of global market research experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has spent the past 12 years at TNS, one of the largest healthcare market research agencies worldwide, where most recently he was president for TNS' US healthcare unit. Earlier in his career he worked in sales and marketing on the client side with Glaxo and Lederle.
