OxySure(R) Systems, Inc. Named to 2008 World's Best Technologies (WBT) List For its Unique, Safe and Easy to Use Portable Emergency Oxygen Generator, Which Provides Medical Oxygen Without the Need for Compressed Tanks
Date:1/30/2008

FRISCO, Texas, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- OxySure(R) Systems, Inc. announced today that the company was selected to the list of the World's Best Technologies (WBT) in 2008. OxySure(R) has developed a unique technology that generates medically pure oxygen from two inert, proprietary powders. The company's inclusion into the prestigious WBT is based on its Portable Emergency Oxygen Generator, Model 615, which OxySure(R) launched in late 2007. The OxySure(R) Model 615 was cleared by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for Over-The-Counter (OTC) sale (without the need for a prescription). Model 615 is a safe, easy-to-use oxygen generator that can be placed in public places and in the home to provide oxygen in medical emergencies by a layperson during those first, critical minutes. It bridges the gap between the placement of a 911 call and the time that the First Responders arrive on the scene. This gap can be anywhere between 6 minutes and 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions or other factors. If the emergency involves a heart attack or stroke, this gap can be critical, since irreparable damage to brain tissue, for example, can occur anytime starting at about the third minute of oxygen deprivation. Just like Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), Model 615 can be safely placed anywhere a heart attack or stroke is likely to occur.

Julian Ross, Chairman & CEO of OxySure(R) Systems, Inc. stated: "We are proud to have our technology included as one of the world's best, alongside technologies from NASA, the Department of Defense, the Navy and some of the top universities, labs and research institutions in the US and around the globe. We have commenced sales of our Model 615 and are committed to continue to research and develop new products and technologies."
