Date:3/30/2009

Colors available in industrial and medical compounds

Enfield, CT (PRWEB) March 30, 2009 -- Oxford Performance Materials (OPM) has introduced a line of colored compounds. These new compounds are available in the firm's industrial and medical OXPEKK® products. These new products come complete with per lot certification of mechanical properties and are available with ISO 10993 raw material certification and USP Class VI concentrate.

"Of the commercially available polyketones OXPEKK® is very unique in its ability to incorporate micro and nano phase fillers without loss in mechanical properties. We have now combined this unique attribute with a highly advanced color formulation and process technology to introduce the state of the art polyketone colored product line", said Scott DeFelice, President and CEO of OPM. "Over the years we have received many requests for colored polyketones which we have normally supported. Now we have taken the decision to offer both our standard colors and custom colors which are available upon request."

OPM's standard colors include white, black, blue, yellow, green and red. These products are available in the firms OXPEKK-MG medical grade polymers which utilize an ISO 10993 tested material and USP Class VI tested concentrate. The products are produced in the firms ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 facility with ISO class 8 clean room.
