Orthopaedic Clinic of Daytona Beach Chooses IDC for Transition to Digital X-ray

Growing Clinic to Automate Three Offices with High Performance DR

CALGARY, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - IDC (Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd.) (TSX: IDL), the global leader in high-quality, low-cost digital radiography systems, today announced that it was awarded a contract by Orthopaedic Clinic of Daytona Beach in Florida for four of its X-Series digital radiography systems. IDC was chosen for its image quality, service and support after a vigorous evaluation of several vendors.

"We currently have three locations and an expanding practice that demands the efficiency and flexibility of digital X-ray," said clinic administrator, John Heckert. "I believe IDC is able to deliver the throughput and image quality that will allow us to improve patient care while at the same time reduce overhead."

IDC is partnering on this account with its regional distributor, Southeast Imaging. Southeast Imaging is a provider of advanced imaging equipment and support services for medical practices in the southeastern United States.

According to John Heckert, "We were looking for more than an excellent product; service is our top priority. We are confident that the combination of IDC and Southeast Imaging will provide the excellent service and support that we require."

"Adoption of the IDC X-Series technology has taken off in orthopaedic clinics where great importance is placed on return on investment in addition to image quality and patient throughput," commented Jackie Sledge, Southeast Imaging VP of Sales.
