More than $200,000 Benefit for Local Economy
METAIRIE, La., April 2, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- OrthoSynetics(TM), the largest provider of business services to orthodontic and dental practices worldwide, produces television advertisements for its more than 300 doctors and practices -- and this year, the production of those ads came home to New Orleans.

doctors, including the production and placement of television
advertisements. More than just a small video shoot, this effort pumped more
than $200,000 into the local economy, involving numerous local workers,
actors and contractors:
-- Casting was conducted by Tommy Staub Casting in New Orleans.
-- Most of talent in the ads were Louisiana residents -- and the majority
of our crew were New Orleans and Louisiana residents.
-- The shooting and casting budget is more than $200,000, spent on local
actors, labor, equipment, locations, catering, hotels, vehicle rentals
and other shoot expenses.
-- OrthoSynetics(TM) filmed at several historic locations, including City
Park, the New Orleans Botanical Garden, New Orleans Museum of Arts -
Besthoff Sculpture Garden, and a New Orleans private residence across
from City Park.
-- The company made donations to both City Park and the Sculpture Garden.
