Orriant Releases Corporate Wellness Case Study Results Highlighting the Success of a Police Sergeant and His Family

When Cache County Corporation in northern Utah implemented a solution from Orriant in order to lower employee healthcare costs, Sgt. Wyatt Goring of the County Sheriff’s Office took full advantage of the opportunity. “It was a process, I couldn’t even run around my block without it just killing me,” said Sgt. Goring. The customized coaching methods applied by Orriant’s corporate wellness programs paid off.

All Orriant health coaches are required to have a minimum of a four-year degree in a health-related field and pass a rigorous training program. This contributes to the robust and well-designed system Orriant is known for throughout the United States. With their nondiscriminatory and personalized programs, they also qualify for Federal wellness incentives, providing more cause for employers to take part in their services.

What did Sgt. Goring’s Orriant coach do for him and his family?

When Orriant began working with Sgt. Goring, many aspects were reviewed. He was told what wellness incentives were offered for his participation in the program. His coach covered all the standard areas of Orriant’s worksite wellness programs. These areas include the eating and exercise elements of good health. “I made a choice that I am going to change. I got with my coach at Orriant saying this is what I am going to do,” Sgt. Goring stated with a proud expression. Together, the Sgt. and his health coach formulated a plan to help him achieve some basic goals. Through the corporate wellness programs offered by Orriant, Goring was able to drop excess weight and increase his productivity.
