Optimal Readings Appoints Operations Veteran Rita Edwards as SVP Clinical Operations

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 8, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Optimal Readings Services Group, Inc., a provider of optimization services for hospitals, imaging centers and radiology groups, announced today that Rita Edwards has been named its Senior Vice President-Clinical Operations.

She has a proven ability to improve operational margins and clinical outcomes through development of physician relationships and internal quality process enhancements. Edwards served most recently at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital as executive director of pathology and imaging services, providing leadership for patient care, financial and operational management of two large clinical departments that generated more than $160 million in annual net income.
