Date:4/8/2008

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 8, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Optimal Readings Services Group, Inc., a provider of optimization services for hospitals, imaging centers and radiology groups, announced today that Rita Edwards has been named its Senior Vice President-Clinical Operations.

"With the recent acquisition of two radiology groups (National Radiology Group and Pin Point Radiology), Optimal Readings now provides radiology services for more than 115 hospitals," said Craig Parker, Optimal's CEO. "The market recognizes the value of our care optimization approach and has rewarded us with remarkable growth. Adding an operations executive with Rita's experience at this point in time will strengthen our company's ability to deliver our solutions to an even broader segment of the marketplace." Ms. Edwards' background includes more than twenty-one years of leadership in metropolitan, suburban and rural healthcare environments. She has a proven ability to improve operational margins and clinical outcomes through development of physician relationships and internal quality process enhancements. "Rita's experience will be extremely valuable to us as we continue to expand our clinical team," added Parker.

Edwards served most recently at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital as executive director of pathology and imaging services, providing leadership for patient care, financial and operational management of two large clinical departments that generated more than $160 million in annual net income.

"It gives me a great deal of pleasure to join Optimal's excellent management team," said Edwards. "Optimal offers a great opportunity to be part of one of the fastest growing radiology service providers in the industry. Optimal is revolutionizing the way healthcare facilities make use of medical images and deliver benefits to both physicians and patients."
