ROYAL OAK, Mich., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Prairie Community Health Center (PCHC), Terry, Montana, has selected Optim to perform an evaluation of hospital renovation, expansion or replacement needs. As the Owner's Representative, Optim will conduct a demographic study of the area's population trends, assess the types of services that PCHC currently provides, and project the services they will need to provide in the years ahead. At the end of the four-week project, Optim will present their findings to PCHC board members, along with several viable program options.
"As rural communities continue to change, Critical Access Hospitals must meet growing demands for healthcare services. Optim understands the challenges that our rural hospitals face. They are specialists in healthcare construction, which has a unique planning process as well as infrastructure requirements," said Reed E. Reyman, Administrator of Prairie Community Health Center.
"Many small hospitals assume that Owner's Representation is a luxury they cannot afford. However, Optim actually saves clients money because we know how to avoid the pitfalls that threaten the success of a major renovation or construction project. We applaud PCHC for taking the time to objectively define their goals and systematically investigate solutions before proceeding with design," said Jeff Larson, Executive Vice President of Optim's Owner's Representation Services.
