Online Store Offers Affordable Digital Hearing Aids For Baby Boomers
Date:6/16/2009

MyHearPod.com provides digital hearing aids for a reduced price by allowing the customer to service and clean the hearing aids themselves.

(PRWEB) June 3, 2009 -- As people born in the generation called the "Baby Boomers" continue to age, hearing loss is becoming more and more prevalent. However, some Boomers may not even seek treatment or assistance with their hearing loss because of the time constraints, and more commonly, the expenses involved in getting the ear hearing aids they need.

MyHearPod.com has opened up that market by providing an entirely new concept for hearing devices. The mission of MyHearPod.com is to provide quality, effective, and comfortable hearing aids at a fraction of the price. HearPods are made with cutting edge technology and if properly cared for can last for years.

They do this primarily by educating the patient and showing them how to maintain their hearing aids. Rather than setting up a doctor's appointment each time the hearing aids need to be cleaned or adjustments need to be made due to their hearing changing, the wearer can watch videos on the MyHearPod.com web site about how to maintain and adjust their hearing aids, and thus save the expense of a doctor visit.

Traditional hearing aids can cost between $4,000 and $8,000, while a MyHearPod.com hearing aid costs between $495 and $1,095.

"It's our goal to provide real solutions to people with hearing loss, when they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to get anything," owner of MyHearPod.com, Randy Wohlers BC HIS, said.

Wohlers makes it clear that MyHearPod.com hearing devices are not for everyone. "We provide a 24/7 customer service phone number to our customers, to assist with any questions about cleaning or servicing hear
