Online Housecalls, Improved Patient Care and Increased Communication Between Doctors and Healthcare Professionals Now Made Possible Through Docgreet.com
Date:6/5/2010

cure dialog format, that only the patient and doctor can see. Patients can upload any digital images or records that they have or if they have an online electronic health record, they simply give the doctor the link to their profile.

DocGreet is a social media site specialized for the medical community. Enrollment is free for physicians and DocGreet offers a premier plan for only $29.95 a month. Health care providers must be verified via their medical license before they are able to enroll in DocGreet.

DocGreet encourages doctors to educate, communicate and affiliate. A doctor or an independently licensed medical health care provider can sign up to easily create their own web page. The web page allows doctors to post blogs, website changes, news, research and articles that are instantly visible and searchable to their patients.

The doctors’ web page doubles as a marketing tool to their practice by pushing the doctor to the top of the search engines without having to worry about SEO, advertising or key words. This feature gives doctors more time to treat their patients, instead of worrying about how to attract new patients.

Doctors can generate finances in their downtime by giving their opinion to patients, about non-emergency cases. They can also get paid for answering their current patient’s questions, while increasing the quality of care through communication and patient education.

There is also an email distribution list that allows doctors to stay in constant contact with their patients, keeping them informed of everything from national and local health care reforms, to changes in the office. This feature allows the doctor to save administrative time and money.
