Online Housecalls, Improved Patient Care and Increased Communication Between Doctors and Healthcare Professionals Now Made Possible Through Docgreet.com
Date:6/5/2010

DocGreet Inc is helping doctors communicate with patients, and other healthcare providers to find new solutions to patient care and healthcare issues, through its website DocGreet.com.

(PRWEB) June 5, 2010 -- DocGreet Inc is offering solutions to health care through its website DocGreet.com. A revolutionary new concept in physician to patient: contact, care management, health updates and physician-to-physician: expertise, collaboration and social media.

DocGreet.com is a free web site for patients encouraging them to search, know and follow their doctors. With over three hundred thousand doctors in our data base, and quickly growing, patients can easily find a specialist in their area.

Patients can keep in touch with their doctors by signing up for their email notifications that alert them of office, insurance and medication releases or warnings. Patient can also see their doctor’s research, articles or blogs right from their doctor’s web page.

For a small fee, usually less than a co-pay, patients can avoid the long waits to see their doctors by the “Ask a Question” feature where they can ask their doctors a non-emergency medical question and be able to get a response from their physician.

Patients can also “Ask A Question” about their health concerns in an open question forum and any doctor can pick up the question, and respond to the patient. This feature is used for a first or second opinion and can be done from the patient home page. Questions are posted and answered in a secure dialog format, that only the patient and doctor can see. Patients can upload any digital images or records that they have or if they have an online electronic health record, they simply give the doctor the link to their profile.

DocGreet is a social media site specialized for the medical community. Enrollment is free for physicians and DocGreet offers a premier plan for only $29.95 a month. Health care providers must be verified via their medical license before they are able to enroll in DocGreet.

DocGreet encourages doctors to educate, communicate and affiliate. A doctor or an independently licensed medical health care provider can sign up to easily create their own web page. The web page allows doctors to post blogs, website changes, news, research and articles that are instantly visible and searchable to their patients.

The doctors’ web page doubles as a marketing tool to their practice by pushing the doctor to the top of the search engines without having to worry about SEO, advertising or key words. This feature gives doctors more time to treat their patients, instead of worrying about how to attract new patients.

Doctors can generate finances in their downtime by giving their opinion to patients, about non-emergency cases. They can also get paid for answering their current patient’s questions, while increasing the quality of care through communication and patient education.

There is also an email distribution list that allows doctors to stay in constant contact with their patients, keeping them informed of everything from national and local health care reforms, to changes in the office. This feature allows the doctor to save administrative time and money.

Doctors can use the social media aspect of DocGreet to consult with their colleagues or a specialist in any medical field by simply downloading images, posting questions, publications or research. The social media aspect of DocGreet is completely confidential and unseen by anyone who is not a verified licensed healthcare provider, so there are no worries of being seen by the general public, or having your social interactions made public. All doctors also agree to abide by the HIPPA law to keep their patients confidentiality a priority. A doctor can also search or get matched for jobs in their specialty or post positions that they might have available in their practice or hospital.
