Omron Healthcare Names New Chief Operating Officer Bob Kondraske
Date:2/25/2008

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Omron Healthcare, Inc. has announced Bob Kondraske as the company's new chief operating officer. With an extensive background in sales, Kondraske will fortify Omron's business through increased sales and profit growth in their mainstay business categories: blood pressure monitors, weight management, thermometry, respiratory, and professional medical. Kondraske's experience as a proven business leader in the healthcare industry will aid Omron in continuing to provide a portfolio of quality products that employ innovative technology, in order to continue to meet market needs.

Kondraske's extensive background in the healthcare industry runs the gamut from consumer pharmaceuticals to nutrition and healthcare. He joins Omron Healthcare from Pennsylvania based McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, where he was formerly vice president of sales development. In this position, he led a team in the launch of a new department supporting category management, shopper insights, customer marketing, new product launch activity and sales operations.

Previous to this position, Kondraske was vice president of U.S. Consumer and Worldwide Ingredient Sales for McNeil Nutritionals, another division of Johnson & Johnson and a global marketer of nutritional brands. While there, he was a member of the senior management team that led the company's start-up nutritional platform and that successfully launched Splenda(R) no-calorie sweetener.

"Mr. Kondraske has proven himself as an effective business leader with experience in several key channels, and we look forward to having him join our senior leadership team," said Isao Ogino, chief executive officer, Omron Healthcare, Inc. "Omron Healthcare is a leader in home health monitoring, and with the addition of Mr. Kondraske as our chief operating officer, we expect to expand our products and services across the board to meet market needs."
