LEADING NUTRITION BAR LAUNCHES SEE MOMMY SHARE PROGRAM
BALTIMORE, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Vincent Foods, creator of the ever popular Oh Mama! bar for women who are pregnant, nursing or trying to conceive, is pleased to announce its partnership with Feed The Children, one of the nation's largest charities dedicated to feeding the bodies and minds of children across the world.
Founded in 1979 by Larry and Frances Jones, Feed The Children is consistently ranked as one of the 10 largest international charities in the U.S., based on private, non-government support. Feed The Children is an international, nonprofit relief organization with headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disasters. Since its founding, the organization has reached out to help those in need in 118 countries around the globe.
As part of their kick-off with Feed The Children, Vincent Foods will begin a fundraising initiative to sponsor 50 babies for one year at the Feed The Children Frances Jones Abandoned Baby Center located in Kenya, Africa. By working with their partner organization seeMommyrun, Vincent Foods will outline their goal of raising $5,400 through the See Mommy Share program. Members of seeMommyrun will be asked to share their ideas on how to contribute to Feed The Children and upon entry will be eligible to win 9 cases of Oh Mama! bars, one for each month of their pregnancy. They will also be asked to support the Abandoned Baby Center financially and as an incentive, the first 20 women to make a donation of $50 or more will receive a basket of "Mommy Must-Haves" hand-picked by Oh Mama! Creator, Beth Vincent. In addition, Oh Mama! will also donate a portion of all proceeds to Feed The Children to assist with the sponsorship of the 50 babies.
