Kathy Dayvault, RN, MPH, COHN-S/CM, has joined PureSafety’s strategic resources group as an occupational health nurse.
Franklin, Tenn. (Vocus) February 25, 2010 -- Kathy Dayvault, RN, MPH, COHN-S/CM, has joined PureSafety’s strategic resources group as an occupational health nurse. With more than two decades of experience in occupational health and safety, Dayvault will provide support and guidance for PureSafety’s product development and positioning, including the industry’s first Learning and Safety Management System (LSMS) and Occupational Health Manager (OHM). She will also serve as a subject matter expert to PureSafety’s customers and help drive the company’s thought leadership within the industry.

Prior to joining PureSafety, Dayvault served as safety manager and occupational health nurse for Shaw Industries, a Fortune 500 engineering, construction, technology, fabrication, environmental and industrial services organization based in Charlotte, N.C. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is an active member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, North Carolina Association of Occupational Health Nurses and Foothills Association of Occupational Health Nurses. She also served as chair of the disaster health services committee for the Cabarrus County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
