Obama - Care Parody Takes Look Inside Realities of Universal Health Care Plan
Date:9/18/2009

Are members of Congress taking the time to thoroughly read through the current health care bill they are prepared to vote "yes" on? Are they willing to sit in a waiting room for hours to see a doctor like they ask their patients? One hour? Two hours? Sixty four hours? Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, while a nurse with a benevolent smile assures the patient the doctor will be available soon. Danny Whitworth takes on Obama Health Care Bill with his hilarious new YouTube video, which is already becoming an Internet sensation.

(PRWEB) September 18, 2009 -- A new hilarious YouTube video produced by Danny Whitworth of Dallas, Texas, asks the question are members of Congress taking the time to thoroughly read through the current health care bill they are prepared to vote "yes" on? Are they willing to sit in a waiting room for hours to see a doctor like they ask their patients? One hour? Two hours? Sixty four hours? Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, while a nurse with a benevolent smile assures the patient the doctor will be available soon.

Set against the musical backdrop of the Runaround Sue, Mr. Whitworth takes action in his newly produced YouTube Parody on the Obama Care Plan. "Stay away from that bill," he decries.

The video also reveals the direction young American society is heading toward. While the upcoming generations no longer follow the news or CNN as much as the current one, it shows a possible way to convey problems in America. Instead of a news report on the healthcare proposition, which some will no doubt find boring and/or unappealing, Mr. Whitworth finds a satirical way to demonstrate the problems Obama's Health Care Bill presents.

The catchy song draws interest from the upcoming generation, and at the same time, informs the viewer of one side of the bill. Although it is an editorialized look at the proposition, displaying the problems that some could face with its approval, it nonetheless gives the viewer information that could influence the weight of their support of the bill, if any. Is the future of media heading this way? Not all at once, but as generations become less interested in common news people might be forced to inform the American public on issues through different media resources such as YouTube.
