O’Donnell Insurance Agency Launches Charity Campaign to Benefit the Family of a Young Local Boy Fighting Leukemia
Date:2/15/2016

O’Donnell Insurance Agency, with a new community involvement program serving the greater Daytona, FL area, has teamed up with a local family currently battling the childhood leukemia of their young son, Brayden. Information on how to help is now available at: https://www.gofundme.com/BraydensArmy.

Brayden is a sweet, lovable five year old boy who was diagnosed with childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in April 2015 and admitted to the hospital the same day. ALL is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow which usually worsens rapidly if it is not treated. Little Brayden has a long road ahead of him, facing another three years of chemotherapy, along with a busy schedule of regular testing and doctor visits. Since his devoted mother, Brittney, has been unable to work since the diagnosis, the family is understandably struggling with escalating medical expenses.

“We are very pleased to be fundraising for this very special little boy,” said Vicki O’Donnell, owner of O’Donnell Insurance Agency. “Helping this lovely family is a great fit for our new community involvement program. After all, neighbors helping neighbors is what it’s all about, and we truly hope everyone will rally around this family. Today it’s Brayden’s crisis – tomorrow it could be one of our own.”

The agency’s caring team is hard at work promoting the campaign through social media and other avenues, even featuring it in their monthly electronic and print magazine. Our Hometown magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Daytona area, reserves a full page to showcase the campaign for Brayden. The current issue may be viewed here: http://www.odonnellinsuranceagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.

Readers who would like to join O’Donnell Insurance Agency in supporting Brayden and his family may visit: http://www.odonnellinsuranceagency.com/Battling-Leukemia-with-Brayden_26_community_cause, and are encouraged to share the page with those in their own circles of influence. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations in the agency’s monthly magazine. The agency itself has pledged to donate $10 to Brayden’s family for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary.

O’Donnell Insurance Agency has demonstrated their devotion to the community by the establishment of a master charity program, of which the current campaign is part. “We are fully committed to assisting those in need in our community. We’ll be selecting a new group, family or individual to support every two to three months,” promised Vicki O’Donnell.
