NuvaRing Bellwether Trial Scheduled: Now, AttorneyOne Can Provide Advice
Date:7/31/2013

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 31, 2013

AttorneyOne.com, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and they are now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on NuvaRing Lawsuit.

According to court documents, the bellwether trial of the first federal NuvaRing lawsuit is scheduled on October 21 (case no 4:2008cv00558, Missouri Eastern District Court). NuvaRing is a popular internal birth control device, a vaginal ring placed near the cervix that was approved by the FDA in 2001. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she suffered a severe pulmonary embolism from NuvaRing.

On June 7, a federal panel ruled that 5 Nuvaring lawsuits alleging injuries will join the NuvaRing Multidistrict Litigation (MDL No. 1964, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri). Court data, updated on July 10, indicate that there are 1,217 actions pending in the NuvaRing MDL. All of the lawsuits concern similar allegations that blood clots from Nuva Ring caused women to suffer injuries including pulmonary embolism, stroke, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or sudden death.

Taking into consideration the latest developments, AttorneyOne.com updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in case of alleged NuvaRing severe complications. Sean Burke, director of Media Relations at AttorneyOne.com, adds that the relevant information illustrates that people continue to file NuvaRing lawsuits. "For that reason," he continues, "our focus should squarely fall on getting the word out and assisting people in finding the right legal assistance.”

On April 4, a Williamson County resident filed a lawsuit in Illinois Southern District Court (case no. 3:2013cv00335) alleging his wife suffered pulmonary embolism from her NuvaRing and died.

AttorneyOne.com has further information on NuvaRing lawsuits including how to get in contact with legal counsel.
