'Nutritionist to the Stars' Helps to Launch European Liquid Appetite Controller
Date:5/20/2008

WAYNE, N.J., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Philip Goglia, known as the "nutritionist to the stars" for his work with celebrities and athletes including Owen Wilson, Mandy Moore, Raven Symone, Gillian Anderson, Brendan Fraser and Jeff Goldblum, will help to launch SlimShots(TM), a liquid appetite controller that has taken Europe by storm and is now available in the United States.

Over the next six months, Goglia, who's Performance Fitness Concepts is the premier nutrition and fitness clinic in Los Angeles, will work with actress Maureen McCormick to help her lose both pounds and inches and keep them off with an innovative weight management program that includes SlimShots, appetite/portion control, nutritional counseling and physical training.

Best known for her role as Marcia Brady in the '70s sitcom, The Brady Bunch, McCormick is the new celebrity spokesperson for SlimShots. While a cast member on the fifth season of VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, McCormick lost over 30 lbs. but quickly returned to her pre-diet weight. Goglia, the author of Turn up the Heat: Unlock the Fat-Burning Power of Your Metabolism, has helped thousands of clients like McCormick for almost two decades.

Both McCormick and Goglia were on hand for the SlimShots launch party at Manhattan's newest hot spot, 1 Oak, on May 6th. The product is made from all-natural ingredients and helps to control feelings of hunger by providing a feeling of satiety (fullness) for up to eight hours.

A graduate of Duke University, Goglia founded Performance Fitness Concepts in 1985. He has designed a private line of nutritional supplements and serves as a nutrition and fitness expert for mylifepath.com, a company developed by Blue Shield to provide information and insurance for alternative and preventative programs and medicine.

Available in convenient single-shots that look like a dairy creamer, SlimShots feature a creamy liquid delivery system with a vanilla flavoring that can be ta
