Nutrition 21 to Report Preliminary First Quarter Fiscal Year 2009 Financial Results on Thursday, November 13, 2008

(Nasdaq: NXXI), a developer and marketer of nutritional supplements that help consumers manage blood sugar levels, improve cardiovascular health, enhance memory and address chronic joint pain, will report preliminary financial results -- prior to the opening of the market -- on Thursday, November 13, 2008 for the first quarter of fiscal year 2009, ended September 30, 2008.
