Nursefinders Announces “Best Nurses of Baltimore” Recognition Program
Date:6/3/2010

Nursefinders of Baltimore honors local nursing heroes.

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) June 5, 2010 -- Nursefinders of Baltimore has announced an eight-week campaign that will allow anyone whose life has been positively changed by a local nurse – co-workers, patients, family members or friends -- to nominate that person for recognition and a chance to win some extra cash in a tight economy.

Honoring Local Nursing Heroes

Nursefinders of Baltimore will begin accepting nominations for all types of outstanding nursing professionals – nurse managers, full-time staffers, contract professionals, and others – in the greater Baltimore area. The program runs today through July 23rd. Each week, a different nurse will be announced as joining the ranks of the “Best Nurses of Baltimore” and will receive accolades and a gift card presented by Nursefinders.

Nurses a Constant amidst Healthcare Reform

When asked why Nursefinders decided to launch the recognition program now, Pauline Wheeler, Director, Nursefinders of Baltimore, said,” With all of the national attention and debate on healthcare reform, one constant will remain no matter the outcome -- we will still rely on nurses, above all others, for direct patient care. They have such an impact on the lives of our neighbors that we wanted to create a venue where local community members could recognize these local heroes.”

“Best Nurses of Baltimore” nominations may be submitted via email, fax or mail. Digital videos and photos of the person you are nominating and/or of the people whose lives they have changed are welcome.
