Nurse Alert Senior Medical Alert System Announces Solution for Seniors to Help Reduce Medical Costs
Date:6/29/2012

Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) June 29, 2012

Nurse Alert offers a 24 hour senior medical nurse help line call center. Today's seniors face limited options due to costs for the care they need. As seniors become an increasingly large proportion of society, we need innovative solutions for senior care.

With Nurse Alert System an individual can remain independent in their own home while assuring that medical and personal assistance is close at hand. The system is comprised a of two-way voice unit that connects to an existing phone line and a lightweight water-resistant (Pendant) worn around the neck or clipped to the waist. Once connected to our 24-hour Nurse-Line Center. Our Triage Specialist will begin answering medical questions or assessing the medical needs of the caller.

Direct connect to Nurse Alert’s 24-Hour Nurse-Line Services. Our call center partners with over 30 hospitals and more than 1,000 physicians to provide subscribers access to unmatched healthcare information. This partnership is unique in the industry today, and offers subscsribers quick access to the appropriate level of care.

Press the RED (Emergency) button. The emergency response system is activated.
An Emergency Care Specialist will talk the caller through the Nurse Alert Console. If this is a medical emergency, or caller does not respond, An Emergency Care Specialist will then begin efforts to make contact with the people on the callers contact list. Even when unable to speak, highly-trained emergency services personnel cannot only dispatch EMS, our response team knows who they are, where they live and who to contact.

We only focus on in home healthcare advice and responses. Our highly trained nurse call center staff is trained specifically for healthcare issues and emergency responses. Our Nurse Triage Center is staffed with R.N.’s who can answer medical questions and focus on the medical attention of the client.

The Nurse Alert Fall Sensor is a wearable, wireless, and water resistant device provided the same benefits the Emergency Medical Response Console does, but includes a "fall" detection sensory. This wireless sensory unit can detect a Nurse Alert Subscriber's fall and sends an immediate alert to the Nurse Alert Medical Triage Center. If the subscriber is physically unable to push the emergency button on their unit after falling, the lack of response will allow an emergency medical response team to be dispatched to their location for emergency medical care. (100% detection is not guaranteed)
