Witten Brings Nursing Credentials in Two States to Complex Rehab

DAYTON, Ohio, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Terri Witten, a nurse and complex rehab specialist with 10 years of experience, has joined Alliance Seating & Mobility (ASM), one of the nation's fastest growing accredited complex rehab companies. Witten is an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) in Dayton, Ohio, for ASM (www.alliance-seating.com) and provides power mobility solutions for pediatrics and adults with severe physical disabilities related to paralysis, cerebral palsy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy and other conditions.

"Making a huge difference in people's lives--adding quality to lives--is definitely a feel-good job," said Witten. "I had a close family member who was affected by mobility issues and did not know about the available solutions. I am glad to be part of a team that is providing advanced technology and tools to help people gain freedom and independence."

Witten has been a registered nurse in the states of Ohio and Indiana for 12 years and a RESNA-certified ATP for six years. Previously, she worked as an area rehab manager for Apria Healthcare as well as a regional sales manager and rehab technology supplier for Hoveround Corporation. She was also a registered nurse for Clarian Health in Indiana and Good Samaritan Hospital in Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Diploma in nursing from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing.

"Terri's nursing background is an ideal addition to this complex rehab team," said Scott Higley, ASM's Vice President of Business Development. "Our team is growing stronger every day, ensuring that we provide the best products and services possible to our complex rehab patients across the nation."

Established in November 2007, ASM has grown from three locations to almost 25 in the past year. ASM is responsible for sales and service of rehabilitation equipment and commercially available assistive technology products/devices for consumers with disabilities.
