Following Release of Study By National Alliance of Caregiving

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- "In light of the study on the financial cost of caregiving being released today by the National Alliance for Caregiving, I would ask that we also consider the hidden physical and emotional costs experienced by caregivers. While anyone may find them self suddenly in a caregiving situation and ages of caregivers range widely, the stress endured by long-term primary caregivers due to the emotional and financial costs, make them more susceptible to depression and illness. With such high costs in mind, I encourage members of families everywhere during this holiday season, to take stock of their family's situation and give thanks to those providing the caregiving for family members in need. And, if you are a primary caregiver, please learn to care for yourself and start asking for help now."
