Northwest Hospital & Medical Center Hosts Health & Wellness Pavilion At Second Annual King 5 Healthy Living Expo

SEATTLE, April 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Northwest Hospital & Medical Center announced today that it will host the Health & Wellness Pavilion (booth #619) at the 2008 KING 5 Healthy Living Expo, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20, at the Qwest Field Exhibition Center West Hall.

The Expo is the region's largest health event, with expected attendance of more than 44,000 people. Admission is free.

The Northwest Hospital Health & Wellness Pavilion will feature a full slate of presentations by physicians and other practitioners on essential health issues, such as sleep problems and disorders, diabetes, carpal tunnel syndrome and other hand conditions, personal emergency preparedness, eldercare, among others.

Visitors to the booth can also participate in free health screenings, including bone density, video gait analysis and custom bike fitting and analysis, for which cyclists may bring their own bicycles to the booth.

Other healthcare providers exhibiting in the Northwest Hospital Health & Wellness Pavilion will include the Seattle Breast Center, The Sports Medicine Clinic, Via Vascular, Urology Northwest and Sleep Medicine Associates,
