North American Seminars Introduces a New Online Continuing Education Course for Physical Therapists, Examination and Treatment of the Hip Joint

It is important to be able to differentiate between intra-articular (pathologies such as femoroacetabular impingement [FAI], acetabular labral tears, and chondral damage) and extra-articular pathologies (such as: snapping hip, greater trochanteric bursitis and hip flexor pathologies). This physical therapy online continuing education cours will instruct the therapist how to perform a comprehensive clinical evaluation develop systematic treatment plans including the latest evidence-based interventions. Current concepts of how the hip region may also play a role in other lower extremity injuries, such as patellofemoral pain syndrome and iliotibial band syndrome are also discussed. Michael P.
