Nordic Naturals Offers Radiant Beauty From the Inside Out With New Spa Collection of Essential Fatty Acid Supplements
Date:11/11/2008

WATSONVILLE, Calif., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Nordic Naturals announces their new Spa Collection, a revolutionary dual skin care system consisting of two formulas: Omega Radiance(TM) and Omega Therapi(TM). Based on Norwegian tradition, both products are dietary supplements for naturally supporting the hair and skin with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and should be taken together daily for optimal results. Omega-3s and omega-6s are considered essential because they must be obtained from the diet or supplementation since they can't be synthesized by the human body. Omega Therapi(TM) contains age-defying omega-3 fish oil, a direct source of EPA and DHA that stimulates production of healthy skin cells, soothes the effects of inflammation and hydrates skin by allowing it to retain its natural moisture. Each jar contains 90 strawberry-flavored soft gels with a minimum serving size of 2 soft gels per day.

Omega Radiance(TM) is a special blend of evening primrose oil and purified fish oil that supports a clear and healthy complexion and promotes hormonal balance while keeping the skin smooth and hydrated. Each jar contains 90 lemon-flavored soft gels with a minimum serving size of 2 soft gels per day.

"Research shows that essential fatty acids are important for maintaining optimal cellular balance that in turn supports beautiful skin, lustrous hair and healthy nails," says Lisa Petty, BA, RNCP, Advisor to Nordic Naturals, holistic nutritionist and the author of Living Beauty: Feel Great, Look Fabulous & Live Well. "We also see from the studies that inadequate intake of these healthy fats can lead to dry skin and premature wrinkling. Supplementation with fish oil and GLA (gamma linolenic acid) are important to vitality and a youthful glow." To see research studies that illustrate the benefits of o
