Nonin Medical Awarded a Premier Contract for Its Innovative Oximetry Solutions

MINNEAPOLIS, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Nonin Medical, Inc., a leading innovator of noninvasive physiological monitoring solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a 36-month contract with Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P., the group purchasing unit of Premier Inc.

Under the agreement, Premier's more than 2,100 hospitals and 54,000 total healthcare member sites will have access to special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for the most extensive selection of products using Nonin's proven PureSAT(R) pulse oximetry technology. With over one million oximeters in the field today, PureSAT technology is trusted by clinicians worldwide and is also utilized by Nonin's more than 90 OEM system integrator partners. Premier's members will also be able to take advantage of Nonin's leadership position in Bluetooth(R) wireless technology with devices such as the innovative Avant(R) 4000 tabletop pulse oximeter. Nonin's cost-effective SpO2 monitoring devices are designed to simplify the delivery of care and will provide Premier-affiliated clinicians with accurate and durable patient monitoring solutions.
