NewsWatch Recently Featured the “Protect America” Mobile Security Application on National Television
Date:12/17/2013

Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 17, 2013

The “Protect America” mobile security application was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and services on the iOS, Android, and Windows market. Andrew Tropeano, host of AppWatch, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how the app helps users keeps their homes secure with their mobile phone.

Home security isn’t a new concept. From moats to infrared detectors, humans have come a long way in protecting their valuables. The next advance in home security is finally hitting the market – wireless automation. A company highlighted by NewsWatch on national television is Protect America.

Protect America sells a wide array of home security products, from automatic door locks to smoke detectors and cameras. All their products are customizable for the home and incredibly easy to install. Most importantly, users can access and control all these devices through their smartphone on the mobile security app, SMART Connect.

For example, if you’re out to dinner downtown and realize you forgot to lock the front door on your way out, instead of jumping in the car, pull up the SMART Connect app and lock it within seconds. The app also allows users to set the alarm, check in on children through live cameras, and receive notifications in the case of a break-in.

The app is incredibly powerful and it’s all controllable from down the street to thousands of miles away.
