Alliance Creates the Nation's Largest Independent Online Retailer of Beauty and Skin-Care Products with over One Million Customers

NEW YORK, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandow Media, parent company of NewBeauty magazine and e-commerce Web site SpaLook.com, and Salu Beauty, parent company of SkinStore.com, today announced a partnership to deliver unprecedented scale and reach for beauty product manufacturers. This powerful new alliance will result in lower costs for beauty manufacturers and increased education and safe, secure online

purchasing options for consumers.

While the companies will maintain separate ownership, Web sites and storefronts, this new alliance will consolidate all back-office operations, such as accounting, merchandising, inventory management, purchasing and technology operations. Efficiency will be maximized through a state-of-the-art, streamlined shipping facility and an expanded customer care center, including a team of highly trained, expert aestheticians to service over 1 million active customers.
