Through her leadership role at the AUA Foundation, Vassos promotes the highest standards of urological patient care
BALTIMORE, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Urological Association (AUA) Foundation is pleased to announce that its Executive Director Sandra Vassos was presented with the Star Award this morning at The New York Women's Agenda 2009 Star Breakfast in New York City. The Star Award recognizes distinguished women leaders across a broad spectrum of professions. This year's theme is Pass It On! Celebrating Women, Generation to Generation.
Vassos joins the 2009 star honorees including Dawna Michelle Fields, Colgate; Gena Lovett, Alexandra Investment; Nell Merlino, Count Me In for Women's Economic Independence; and Margot Hartman Tenney, The First Stamford Corporation. Additionally, actress Jane Fonda was presented today with the Elinor Guggenheimer Lifetime Achievement Award.
