New West Penn Allegheny CEO Meets With Insurance Brokers

PITTSBURGH, April 2, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher T. Olivia, M.D., president and chief executive officer of the West Penn Allegheny Health System, today met with more than 60 regional healthcare insurance brokers to discuss Intelli-Series, a new series of benefits-rich healthcare plans now offered to businesses and their employees by West Penn Allegheny and UnitedHealthcare.

Dr. Olivia and other executives with West Penn Allegheny and UnitedHealthcare explained to the brokers how the Intelli-Series plans will benefit both large and small employers in western Pennsylvania and enhance the quality and affordability of healthcare insurance in the area. Dr. Olivia officially began his tenure as West Penn Allegheny's CEO on March 17, 2008.
