New Video Introduces Bedros Keuilian as the Fitness Marketing Expert on Spike TV’s Gym Rescue

In a new video uploaded to YouTube this week, Bedros Keuilian is introduced as the fitness marketing expert on the new Spike TV reality series, Gym Rescue.

The series premiered August 10th and new episodes will air August 17th and August 24th. The reality series is similar to other shows where experts mentor struggling business owners and help them to salvage their failing businesses. In the Spike TV series, these efforts are focused on smaller gym and fitness boot camp owners. Keuilian hopes the show will be instructive to fitness entrepreneurs everywhere.

“There are a lot of really great people out there, working very hard and trying to make a living,” says Keuilian. “But they struggle in areas like marketing, sales, and business management, and things can turn really bad quickly, no matter how good their product or service is.”

Keuilian was tapped by the producers because of his renown as a fitness marketing expert and his successful Fit Body Boot Camp franchise, which has hundreds of locations in the US and Canada. Keuilian runs fitness business seminars, coaches, and mentors business owners through his websites and information products, and is frequently interviewed in the press about trends and strategies within the fitness industry. Serving as a consultant to a reality series is something completely new, but not altogether unfamiliar.

“Doing the show isn’t all that different from what I do on a daily basis,” he explains. “I help fitness entrepreneurs to be more successful, whether they’re personal trainers, running a fitness boot camp or buying their own Fit Body Boot Camp location. Most of the people I work with are either brand new or they’re quite successful and looking to become even more successful, so there aren’t a lot of “gym rescues’ in my normal course of business, but the principles are the same.”

Keuilian explains that those principles include creative and efficient marketing techniques, improving sales techniques, delivering outstanding value, and building a reputation as a local fitness expert.

“This is a great time to be in the fitness business, but fitness marketing involves a lot more than posting an ad in the paper or passing out flyers,” he adds. “Business owners need to reach out to their communities to make themselves visible and help build trust and credibility. They need to make the most of social media and create a relationship with their clients that encourages and prompts referrals.”

“Fitness entrepreneurs can’t just sit back and wait for the business to start trickling in,” says Keuilian. “That’s how a lot of the people on Gym Rescue got into trouble, and it’s also the reason some businesses fail before their first anniversary. You have to think creatively, be committed and give it all you’ve got.”
