Date:4/27/2010

AppVIEW 1.0 is the Latest Free, Easy to Use, Yet Extremely Powerful Tool Designed for System Administrators and Application Owners to Monitor, Diagnose and Resolve Capacity Bottlenecks in Application VMs

Andover, MA (PRWEB) April 27, 2010 -- VKernel, the award winning provider of capacity management products for virtualized datacenters announced today the release of VKernel AppVIEW 1.0. The new desktop application provides system administrators and application owners with an extremely powerful tool to monitor, diagnose, and resolve capacity bottlenecks in application virtual machines.

For virtualized applications to operate correctly, the applications must have sufficient access to resources including CPU, memory, disk and storage I/O. In a virtualized data center, these resources are pooled and access is not always guaranteed. AppVIEW from VKernel is one of a suite of tools that enable system administrators to proactively manage capacity to ensure performance objectives are met while maximizing ROI.

AppVIEW 1.0 was designed as an easy to use, easy to download, desktop application. Once installed, AppVIEW provides current and 30 day historical visibility to potential CPU, memory, disk and storage I/O bottlenecks for the top five user selected application VMs. The easy to read interface provides linkages into other VKernel products for deeper performance analysis, root cause analysis, capacity planning and resolution.
