New Study Results May Suggest That Appetite Suppressants Like Prescopodene Could Help Pull You Out of a Bad Mood

Australia (PRWEB) April 08, 2013

It’s common knowledge that appetite suppressants often found in weight loss supplements like Prescopodene can help people lose weight. But, new research results suggest that limiting the consumption of food when a person is feeling down may actually help them get out of their bad mood quicker.

Researchers at Penn State University conducted a study on 131 college-aged females who felt that there was a correlation between their eating patterns and their mood. The participants kept track of both their eating behaviors and how they felt at different points throughout the day, helping researchers uncover the connection that exists between mood and food intake.

What they found is that if the women were in a good mood prior to eating unhealthy food, their moods were relatively unaffected by what they ate. However, if they were feeling down before choosing to consume junk food, they felt much worse after ingesting foods loaded with unhealthy fat and calories.

As this is one of the first studies that have been conducted in the field versus in a laboratory setting, it holds a promise of highlighting true eating responses by people in real-life situations. And, it suggests that if people can hold off from essentially feeding their bad moods, they may feel better more quickly.

Thus, weight loss supplements that contain appetite suppressants, such as Prescopodene, may actually help promote positive moods by limiting the desire to eat. Prescopodene is a weight loss supplement that contains a combination of several natural ingredients known to suppress appetite; some of which include grape seed extract, L-tyrosine and octopamine.
