New Study: Alcohol Drinkers May Face Long Term Health Issues
Date:6/25/2013

Department of Psychology at Arizona State University. "What's important is that many people believe that if they can hold their alcohol, they are at low risk for alcohol problems. I think our study may help explain why that's the case, because initially that may be true," says Corbin. "But what's important is that people know that being able to hold your alcohol puts you at heightened risk for long-term alcohol problems. The worry is that people who have that belief continue to drink heavily, thinking they are fine, and those really are the ones we're most worried about."

Alcohol abuse can start innocently enough with just a few drinks and then evolve into a serious dependency. At a detox center like Harbor Village, you will be guided on a path to recovery,” said Robert Niznik, Harbor Village CEO.
