New Research Shows Programs like Recovery Associates Offer the Most Effective Type of Treatment for Drug and Alcohol Addiction

New studies done by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse revealed some unsettling facts about current addiction treatment practices. Researchers found that most treatment facilities rely on old, outdated philosophies and approaches and neglect to implement evidenced-based therapies that have been shown work better. It also found that the staff at many of the treatment facilities lacked the education and credentials needed to properly treat clients, especially those with a dual diagnosis. So what types of treatments are effective in helping addicts and alcoholics achieve long-term sobriety? The same treatments offered by Recovery Associates.
