New QuickMedical Facility Offers More Products and Enhanced Service
Date:4/18/2013

Issaquah, WA (PRWEB) April 18, 2013

QuickMedical recently completed an extensive restructuring and expansion of its warehouse facility in Issaquah, Washington. The expansion included construction of new, efficient shelving units designed to maximize the warehouse space.

QuickMedical now has maximum flexibility in purchasing new products while minimizing the time between a customer’s order and delivery.

“We are able to offer new suppliers extensive product lines, like UMF Medical and Graham-Field, while at the same time offering our own brand, QM Elite medical disposables," said QuickMedical CEO Scott Hanna. QuickMedical.com currently carries over 37,000 different pieces of medical equipment and supplies, many of which are stored at the QuickMedical facility.

The warehouse expansion was a necessary investment to ensure that QuickMedical had the capacity for future growth. The new shelving units in QuickMedical's warehouse allow products to be stored up to 30 feet from the floor, maximizing all the available space in the facility.

"This renovation was just as complicated as when we moved our facilities to Issaquah several years ago," said Eileen Brisbine, QuickMedical CFO. "Our employees rose to the challenges this expansion caused in the short-term, and now that the expansion is complete we are already seeing benefits." Through a companywide coordinated effort, QuickMedical's customers were barely affected by the renovation.

"The expansion isn't just about buying more products," said Hanna, "it's about buying smarter, which in turn benefits our customers.”
