New Professional Network Brings Chinese Scientists and Researchers into International Community
Date:10/15/2009

We are pleased to announce the launch of Anianet, a free professional network for Chinese scientists, professors, and other scholarly professionals. On both sides of the divide, 4 in 5 researchers are unhappy with the lack of collaboration. This matters. Research teams that could be working in concert to cure H1N1 and other diseases instead operate in parallel. Theorists from east and west who might collaborate on new economic models to guard against global recessions instead remain siloed, working without benefit of each other's knowledge. Anianet addresses this divide by encouraging Chinese intellectuals to create free, English language profiles highlighting their interests and achievements. Western research teams, editors, meeting organizers, and funding agencies now have a resource upon which they can rely to discern who is who within the Chinese scholarly community.

San Francisco, CA, October 15, 2009 -- With a goal of reducing the barriers separating Chinese researchers from their counterparts in the United States and Europe, Anianet, Inc., today officially announces the launch of the Anianet professional network (http://www.anianet.com). Tens of thousands of Chinese scientists, professors, and other scholarly professionals are currently conducting vital, groundbreaking work. Anianet integrates these Chinese intellectuals into the international community by providing a platform to create free English-language profiles detailing their professional accomplishments in a format that is optimized for
