Newport Coast Pharmacy Grand Opening on October 2

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept 24 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday October 2, Newport Coast Pharmacy is hosting a grand opening celebration from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 400 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach -- across from the prominent Fashion Island Shopping Center.

To welcome their neighbors and provide a taste of the personalized pharmacy experience, the grand opening activities will include:

* FREE blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes screenings

* Ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Newport Beach Chamber of

Commerce

* Complimentary food and beverages

* Raffle for prizes including a $200 Fashion Island gift card

The event demonstrates the new owners' commitment to personalized patient care. "We saw a need in the market for a pharmacy that goes beyond filling prescriptions," said Brian Lyn, Pharm.D and co-owner with wife Frances. "We are excited to create a neighborhood pharmacy experience, providing personalized service, knowledge and patient care."

Newport Coast Pharmacy fills prescriptions from any provider and accepts all insurance plans. Free delivery and mail-out of most prescriptions is offered at no additional charge. "When a patient is not feeling well, the last thing they want to do is drive to the pharmacy. The patient can call in and we'll deliver their prescription to their home that same day." Customers will also appreciate Newport Coast Pharmacy's competitive pricing and policy to "meet or beat your prescription price."

Distinctive from other pharmacies in the area, the pharmacy features a Diabetes Shoppe, offering items especially for the person with diabetes including skin care products, sugar-free products, glucose meters and testing supplies.
